When it comes to designing your dream wedding, there can be many components. There’s the cake, linen, napkins, sashes, favors, menu cards, programs, place cards and lots more. All these things can take a bizarre turn into excessive, overly stated and over budget.

Taking things step by step (creating a monthly checklist) and coming up with a "realistic" budget, is key and will keep things in perspective. Stick with 2 colors and an accent....In the photo, black & white are the colors while green (chartreuse to be precise) is the accent; the theme is damask (pattern). Try not to over indulge in too much pattern, a little can go far.
