Invites, your guests' first impression!

Similar to choosing the perfect wedding dress, ordering invitations can cause bridal panic attacks. Your invites should give your guest their very first impression on what to expect for your big day! Wedding invitations set the tone and theme for the entire affair which is where a lot of brides tend to struggle. When looking at invitations, keep in mind your color theme first and then the design of the card (i.e. square, long, embellishment, etc.). This will make your selection process less overwhelming

Also, stay away from adding photos to the wedding invitations. Photos are more appropriate for an engagement party or a save-the-date announcement. If you have your heart set on incorporating a favorite photo, use it on your wedding program, table menu or even table numbers.

Lastly, remember, typically invites should go out at least two months before the big day therefore you should begin shopping for invites no later than five months before your big day which allows 3 to 6 weeks for the design, print and assembling process.
